Kharman Kooh

Due south of Bakhtegan National Park in Iran and north from the county town of Fasa extends this sun-baked desert landscape. Very little grows here; the villagers of nearby Roniz Sofla and Roniz Oyla irrigate their cropland with water from the Fasa Mountains, nearby Lake Bakhtegan, and from Kharman Kooh mountain which, at 3183 metres, is the highest peak in the province.
